Morbitiy and mortality registrations

All participants from the Hoorn study, the New Hoorn study and Diabetes Care System West-Friesland are still actively followed up for vital status by linkage with the municipality register and for occurrence of chronic diseases, with a special focus on cardiovascular disease and cancer as well as cause-specific mortality, by checking their medical records
